Anxiety Management
Are you an Overthinker? Do you find that when you stop worrying about one thing, you quickly find something else to worry about? Is it difficult for you to relax in new or social situations?
When it comes to treating anxiety disorders, research shows that therapy is usually the most effective option. That’s because anxiety therapy - as opposed to medication - treats more than just symptoms of the problem.
There are many effective mind-body approaches that I teach my clients in order to reduce anxiety and feel calmer. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness practice, Hypnosis and use of relaxation techniques are some of the approaches I use with my clients.
Therapy can help to uncover the underlying causes of your worries and fears, help you learn how to relax, look at situations in a new, less frightening way, and develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills.
